Arrow
House

A wedge-shaped section usually forces compromise. Here it set the whole design in motion - almost 270 degrees of view across the wetlands and reserve next door, and a home built to make the most of it.

Light brick and cedar carry through inside and out, a pared-back palette that leans Scandinavian rather than loud. On the north-east face, a run of architectural fins adds depth and privacy without closing the view down. A courtyard tucked between the two main building forms catches the afternoon sun and takes the edge off the prevailing wind.

Guests come in from the rear, and the building draws them forward as the two forms converge toward the front door - solid and closed at the back, opening up into the light and transparency the rest of the home is built around.

"The experience we had with Hierarchy Group regarding our Arrow House property was exceptional. Their team was not only professional but also incredibly accommodating throughout the entire process.

We consistently receive positive feedback about the house, particularly praising its stunning design and architectural features.

The attention to detail in the structure was remarkable, exceeding our expectations in every aspect. We wholeheartedly recommend collaborating with Hierarchy Group for any architectural needs, working with them has been a truly rewarding experience."

“A restrained material palette and thoughtfully designed entry courtyard create an inviting path, leading towards the living areas. With a focus on maximising views throughout, this design solves the complexities through thoughtful spatial planning.”
